David Katz
David Katz once served the state of Florida as an Assistant State Attorney. During his time in that position, he received specialized training with the Intolxilyzer 8000, the breathalyzer used by Florida law enforcement in DUI convictions, and served as the DUI/Intoxilyzer Specialist with the Seminole County State Attorney’s Office. This gives him intimate knowledge of the device and access to its manufacturer. His success at his position was such that the Florida Prosecuting Attorney’s Association selected him to teach the ins-and-outs of trial skills to new prosecuting attorneys. Mr. Katz now uses that insider knowledge to defend Florida residents against DUI charges and the full range of other criminal offenses. He is one of the founding partners of Katz & Phillips.
